Making the most of a blooming garden and loose, breezy summer clothes.

Why is it such a task to upload a few snaps from the UK trip? Maybe because I’m seven months pregnant. Yup. Probably that. But here is an OOTD with rose quartz necklace, beaded bracelets, rose tank, cuffed boyfriend jeans and a colourful HM dress worn unbuttoned as a layer.

Muwah
Picked up this incredible tunic, in teal and chambray blue with tassels, on our last trip to Santorini. Over maternity ‘boyfriend’ jeans, with seashells, bright flats and a side pony – I’m revelling in summer.

What are you wearing for summer time?
Palazzo pants in a smooth, flow material, black top. Sparkly flatforms and a fresh mani-pedi. I have been enjoying the tassel necklace I made after a trip to Portugal, inspired by the colourful jewellery I was seeing throughout our trip. It was the perfect rainbow of colour to accessorize for pride month … discreetly. And nothing makes me feel more entitled to a bit of pampering (hands and feet) than being targeted by a homophobic little twerp for being out at my job.

Happy Pride month. We’re here. We’re queer. We’re not going anywhere.
For the Inside Out Film Festival I needed a day to night outfit that was going to take me from screening to after parties.

Daytime is for pineapple flats and velvet details. Night time is when the heels come out. Small swaps had me party ready!
For more on this year’s fab festival, stay tuned.
A great day for an easy dress over jeans. I’m into loose layers and this mustard and cobalt dress is still going strong after a few seasons. Thanks, H&M! And thanks La Carnita for a delicious price fixe taco lunch with churros and chocolate peanut butter pops to finish!

Easy. Breezy. Beautiful. And perfect on its own or over cuffed boyfriend jeans.

A linen dress, paired with eclectic gold, pearl and quartz.
We finally felt ready to share the news publicly. Stay tuned for some ridiculous behind the scenes shots.

So excited for this film. Thanks @alliamcleod for making it with me and @almapuraxo for the photography! #baby #pregnant #genreunspecified #lesbianbaby #babyjourney #cleodcar #stylesavie
I know a dress is a good one when I want to wear it twice in three days. I picked up this blue and white, kaftan style midi dress with tie-front for $40, and turned the corner of the rack to find my friend holding the same one.

Super versatile and easy to wear, it was a perfect choice over jeans, for a very windy day, paired with a black leather jacket and ankle cowboy boots. On the patio and into the evening, it was comfortable and breezy.

Two days later I wore it for a day date with my nieces to the movies, ice cream and for a walk on the windy beach, paired with a long denim jacket, Topshop peep toe slides and whimsical earrings.
Aldo sunglasses, Zara moto jacket, Gap denim trench, Frye cowboy boots, Topshop leather peep toe boot and H&M dress.

I love the flora of this print, which reminds me of wallpaper or the plates we had in my house when I was growing up. And the tie front means that while it fits now, it will also be a cinch to cinch it when I have a waistline again!
Is there an outfit you are wearing on repeat this spring?
Paper bag waists with elastic are… elasticize pants. And I love them. This was a no-brainer for a breezy, warm day. Loose tucked shirt, just at the front and easy shoes. Messy bun. No jewellery.
