styleI’m loving the oversized v-neck tunics from Joe Fresh. I got one in purple and another in crimson to share with my wife. Huge perk of our situation. It can go so many ways, from minimal to decadent glam.
As always, heel height has a huge impact on the wearability- and on my crankiness, so I always suit the shoe to the task.
Suspend Your Disbelief
styleI got myself a new skirt for fall: below the knee, black, high waisted,…with suspenders. I am excited. It’s rare that I find a piece that I love, that I’m not sure I can pull off. Today’s pairing: bordeaux sleeveless turtleneck, boots and statement necklace. Wish me luck.
Grey Day
styleHeading out for a morning of grocery shopping and then to play with my nieces. Later, fish tacos, beer and cooking up a storm with my wife’s family. Comfort and kid-friendly clothes are a must.
I’m on the lookout for a new black purse; must be small, cross body and have well-zipped compartments for ID, money, etc. It will be our new ‘going out dancing bag’ – for hands-free shakin’ on the dance floor.
Suggestions?
Shake, Rock and Roll
styleI have found a new love. A dance party. Saturday nights at Clinton’s in Toronto, the djs spin oldies from the 50s, 60s and 70s… and I haven’t sweat and smiled that much in AGES.
For a party where everyone in the room feels like friends, with a rock & roll vibe and everyone cutting a rug… faux leather feels just right.
One key piece, the leather pant, provides a slew of options for cool, cool, cool.
