UncategorizedGrey Day – Out to Play
styleHere is an outfit for weekend errands. Comfy and quick to throw on.
Buttoned Up. Pared Down.
styleVariety is the spice… and the meat and potatoes of life. Unless you’re vegan. I love a good basic that can go a few ways. My moss coloured cropped culottes are a good bet for a spring, summer or fall outfit. Styled with a cute flowy top, with embellished neckline and some sweet footwear for height, or flats for comfort, this is an easy way to look pulled together… while wearing an elastic waist.

Play With Grey
styleOutfit of the day, your way. How would you style it? Sporty? Sexy? Ginger (wink wink). My favourite way to dress it to try out new iterations for each of my separates to get the maximum wear. I rarely repeat an outfit twice.

Suspend Your Disbelief
styleI got myself a new skirt for fall: below the knee, black, high waisted,…with suspenders. I am excited. It’s rare that I find a piece that I love, that I’m not sure I can pull off. Today’s pairing: bordeaux sleeveless turtleneck, boots and statement necklace. Wish me luck.
In the Bag
style
My relatively new purse just busted its hardware, to my surprise… and I’ve been considering an appropriate replacement. A good bag, at $160, isn’t ‘cheap’ and I could reasonably expect it to last more than a few months. Right? So, on with the new and the next. What should I get?
And will it go with my hand-me-down silk blouse with circle appliques in mauve, plum and pale violet, with shell buttons? Today I paired it with dark denim, some clunky boots and a delicate necklace. Warm and cozy with my nubby oatmeal cardigan coat.
Stay Golden
styleHeaded to a birthday party… with live steel drum band. I’m wearing a hand painted silk top with bat wing sleeve, and depending on how much I need to carry, how much the temperature drops and how long I’ll be on my feet … the rest will figure itself out. I can hear the music already!
