Luckily the dusters and kimono layers I so love are a perfect fit for summer and baby.

Don’t forget shoes that let your feet breathe and items that don’t dig in. If you haven’t tried wrap around pants that tie at the waist … do it!
It has been a while, and for good reason: I’ve been waiting to reveal a big StyleSaVie surprise. The ootd section, to name one, will be getting an update – maternity fashion. I’m just about at the end of my first trimester and bump fashion is on the horizon.

I couldn’t say no to this Jane Plus One ruffle dress. It’s perfectly named, though not maternity fashion, and its stretchy waistline and billowy skirt will easily accommodate my expanding belly.

I am excited for the challenges ahead, maternal and style-related. I know that one in four pregnancies do not carry to term, and 1 in 8 women have struggled with fertility, from first hand experience with my wife and my own pregnancy journey. However, I’m feeling hopeful and am ready to embrace all the feelings and big changes ahead.
