Buttoned Up. Pared Down.

Variety is the spice… and the meat and potatoes of life. Unless you’re vegan. I love a good basic that can go a few ways. My moss coloured cropped culottes are a good bet for a spring, summer or fall outfit. Styled with a cute flowy top, with embellished neckline and some sweet footwear for height, or flats for comfort, this is an easy way to look pulled together… while wearing an elastic waist.

I can’t let go of my summer dresses. So, I won’t. I’ll pair them with boots, luxe leggings, faux fur, long sweaters and capes, to bring out the best in my summer staples and help them transition to fall. Like the leaves, they’ll get a new look.

Flowers, All Grown Up - Fresh prints, cutouts and new lengths

I love a good floral print dress. But I’m trading the youthful, sometimes juvenile vibe of a mini dress and taking it to a midi-length. Florals with a dark background, cutouts or abstracted print are my favourites. I am keeping these variations in rotation this fall! Let’s call them perennials.

I have loved this look for quite some time and was happy to see my dress crop up on Aria in Pretty Little Liars.
