Last week my basement looked like this: ewww.

The painted concrete was cracked and peeling.

After a flood in the basement  and six weeks of waiting for our foundation repair… Our floor finally went in.

This morning the basement looked like this:      

And Tonight:

We have a (mostly) complete basement bedroom and yoga/ping pong room. Still some things to add and shelves to fill, but it is Infinitely better.

  
  
  
  
A hard day’s work, and two trips to Brampton to pick up bookshelves for thirty bucks, means our derelict basement is now a place to enjoy – complete with our turntable, sewing table, easel, ping pong table and space to accommodate guests.
