Inspired by the Joe Fresh faux leather v-neck that I got on sale for twelve bucks (one in wine and a second in a rich brown) …  

 This outfit got me thumbs up and nods of approval from front desk to passers by. Most importantly, it was a Canadian designed cheapie hat is super comfortable. I bought them in a whim  while getting the last of my holiday shopping done, and I’m sure glad I went with my gut.

Plaid isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think of going out on the town, but an unexpected pairing of plaid, and a cutout crop? Perfect. Plus, it calls to mind my favourite nineties film character, Cher, from Clueless. Throw on a black leather jacket and you’re good to go.
